Hi. The game does not even have capability to change colors like that. The most likely explanation is that your browser tried to impose dark mode and changed the colors in an unfortunate way. If this is the case, it is beyond our control and can (probably) be fixed with your browser's settings.

That actually looks like the classic Minesweeper palette glitch rather than anything you did. Older versions (and some clones) rely on system color themes, and if Windows switches contrast mode, color depth, or a theme glitches out, the game just grabs the wrong palette. It can even happen after alt-tabbing, changing display settings, or waking from sleep. The fact that everything still works but looks washed or oddly gray is a big giveaway. A quick restart of the game usually fixes it, and worst case a log-out or reboot resets the system colors. Definitely not your sister’s fault this time.
